Toto is a well-known name in the toilet biz, but they seriously outdone themselves with the neo rest AC.
Available later this year and expected to retail for about $10,000, the neo rest AC is the smartest toilet I've ever seen.
Built in motion sensors detect your presence and lift the lid, then the system pre-mists the bowl to help reduce what Toto diplomatically refers to as waste adherence It also flushes automatically, air dries and deodorizes the bowl.
The included remote control can also handle all sorts of advanced functions.
There is a seat heater, a built-in oscillating bidet that Toto says will eradicate the need for toilet paper entirely.
And, a UV light that's supposed to help speed up waste decomposition.
Toto also told me they're looking into voice control opportunities, as well as a related app.
So maybe someday soon, you'll be able to say Alexa, flush the toilet.
