These are the top five things Disney plus still needs, folks.
I'm not gonna lie, Disney managed to eat up so many properties that I enjoy like Pixar and marvel.
When Disney plus was announced, I knew that it would wind up on my streaming box.
But there are some problems with the service.
Let's talk about what can be added to make it better, shall we?
At number five organization If you go to the movie section and you have it listed from A to Z, you'll see Avengers end game and Avengers Infinity War near the top, where the rest, keep scrolling.
They are sorted as As Marvel Studios Avengers Age of Ultron and Marvel Studios, The Avengers.
What's weird is things like Captain America and Guardians of the Galaxy are sorted in C and G respectively.
Then there's the dreaded D section.
The 2016 Adventures In Babysitting starts it off.
Why?
Because it's Disney Adventures In Babysitting.
There's also Disney Freaky Friday, which is no where near the other two Freaky Friday movies.
What about Disney's extremely goofy movie?
It's under E do something about this Disney.
Number four Get rid of placeholders for titles that are not coming for a long time go into the movie section of Disney plus and take a look at all the titles from A to Z.
One of the first movies that caught my eye was 1987's Adventures in Babysitting clicking.
It brings you to a place holder that says coming soon to Disney plus due to existing agreements.
This title will be available on June.
D2, D3, January 1 2021, the mostly CG Jungle Book may 30 2021.
Some Marvel titles have a less ridiculous timeline.
Ant Man and The Wasp is coming on July 29 2020.
Avengers Infinity War hits Disney plus on June 25 2020.
Hey Disney, maybe we should have a talk as to what coming soon means.
I guess if you're looking at the whole history of existence a few years is soon.
Number three, the Simpsons fix.
For the first 19 seasons of The Simpsons.
The show's aspect ratio was four by three.
After that, they went to a 16 by nine format with HD.
The entire Simpsons catalog went online in 2014 with FX now.
In a feature called Simpsons world.
It featured a cropped 69 version of the first 19 seasons.
So the image was zoomed in and some jokes were not visible.
Guess what?
That tick people off.
So FX fixed it in 2015.
In 2019, The Simpsons found a new streaming home, Disney plus.
So did Disney learn from what FX did?
No.
We get a 69 cropped version of the for three episodes and no option to change it.
Now Disney has said it will offer the original for three versions in early 2020.
Considering Disney thinks that a year and a half is Soon, I wonder what early means to it.
While we're on the subject of the Simpsons, there are a bunch of features that Disney Plus does not have compared to Simpsons world.
The FX app had the option to watch a stream of episodes grouped by Disney now has the rights to some amazing movies like alien, diehard, Deadpool and some of the x men movies.Are they on Disney plus?Nope.
If you want to watch sigourney Weaver on Disney plus how about just settling for a voice.
And Finding Dory Bruce Willis.
How about Jason is the kid instead?
Ryan Reynolds Forget about him.
Are there placeholder posts for those Fox Movies on Disney plus?
No.
So where are they online?
Looking around.
A good number of the movies I mentioned are not available for streaming unless you buy or rent to them.
Deadpool can be found on FX now.
If you're paying for cable.
The back catalogue on Disney plus is pretty big.
But right now, Disney's leaving out a bunch of titles.
And the number one thing Disney plus still needs needs is stronger originals to match The Mandalorian.
Of all the originals on Disney+, the Mandalorian stands out.
It's probably the most adult of all of the originals, bounty hunting, bar fights, and a baby.
If you want to watch something in a similar vein on Disney+, what are your options?
Under suggestions you get Star Wars films, a documentary on the Star Wars trilogy and animated offerings.
I'm not sure who's watching the Mandalorian and has not seen the Star Wars movies.
What other originals are there?
I seriously doubt people are watching the Mandalorian and then head over to the world according to Jeff Goldblum, another Disney plus original and man does that guy love ice cream?
There's a weird episode.
Anyway, this is where HBO is upcoming Max service is going to get interesting.
It already has a back catalogue of prestigious titles.
If you'd like to Curb Your Enthusiasm, you might be able to jump to Veep or Silicon Valley.
You want drama centered around family.
Take your pick the sopranos, six feet under succession Game of Thrones.
The Originals issue on Disney plus should be fixed over time.
You and McGregor is starring as Obi Wan Kenobi and his own Disney plus series.
Eventually, they're also big Marvel shows coming.
These will round out the original section.
But that's the future and this is now Unless you're watching this in the future, so this would be the present.
