This $3,700 LG induction stove will speed up your cooking

[SOUND] LG wants to get your food to you fast with this $3700 induction range. Most of the appliance's notable features are designed to speed up the cooking process. Those features include a speed roast Setting that's designed to cook a small chicken without needing to preheat the oven. That cut about ten minutes off the total cook time for a five and a half pound chicken. And each of the four induction burners on the cook top has a boost power mode that you use to heat a large amount of food or boil a lot of water. Though it was nice to have the extras in case you're really in a time crunch. The oven performed just fine without it. A chicken cooked on the convection roast mode in a preheated oven tastes fantastic, even if it took a little bit longer to cook. And the cook top boiled water in less than six minutes when it was on boost power mode. But induction ovens by their very nature cook food faster with or without a little boost. Another bonus feature LG includes in this oven is WiFi capability. So you can control this oven from your smartphone. This is definitely a Upgrade from other LG smart ovens we've tested, but it's still a bit of a pain to use. You have to select the remote enable feature on the oven before you can control it from your phone. And what you can do from your phone is pretty limited. Overall I like this oven, but I'd shop around a bit more before you throw down 3,700 for it.
