The tiny Logitech Cube mouse
Hi.
I'm Rich Brown, Senior Editor for CNET.
Today we're gonna take a look at the Logitech Cube Mouse.
So this tiny little mouse is designed to be both a mouse and presentation device.
You can use it just like any mouse put on a table, scroll around works fine on Windows.
Can click left and right and recognizes that.
It even has a scroll function based on touch.
If you drag your finger down and (behave?) (??) expect right on the screen.
For presenters so take the mouse off of the table it becomes a click device.
You hold it upright and click and it will advance here next page in the presentation.
Turn it upside down and click the bottom side again and it goes back up.
So obviously a wireless mouse but it's also a member of Logitech unified device mouse.
Now that means it comes with the USB, micro receiver, they can receive signals from up to 6 different Logitech unified input devices so if you're using this and you have say a keyboard and some other some Logitech gear you can just use it a single user receiver that can simplify the connection.
That's certainly welcome feature and we also like that it's rechargeable and see those little micro USB input here you can connect to other system to charge it.
Using the mouse is a fine and short (verse?) it works seen on an Airplane tray but it's not great for precision works.
So if you're (??) spread sheets, you're gaming and maybe using some design apps, it's really not gonna do the job for you.
For presenters it's a (??) product it's small (??) hands it's affordable and advance and backward features work well enough but we wish to have a little bit more functionality say it's a laser pointer or maybe you can scroll to right and left something else are adjust by the price of this thing 'cause I've checked one $70 for this cube mouse.
Now it's certainly (??), it's affordable, it has a nice functionality but I'm not sure $70 is really you wanna pay for something small as this but particularly we can get other presentation (myself?) that there are fully featured devices and come to a laser pointers.
Now that said the message of course pretty unique looking so I expect a lot of (??) some pretty much under strength of this design.
Now the cube must does work well enough I wish there's a little bit more value here to justify the price.
So I'm Rich Brown.
This is the Logitech Cube Mouse.
