The 7 best movies leaving Netflix in November
We just got Netflix's information about what's coming and going on the service for November.
Here's everything arriving in November and here's everything leaving in November.
So where do you start?
Today we're going to count down the top seven movies that are leaving Netflix in November.
To rank the movies we're using metacritic.com.
The site calculates its score based on a whole bunch of critical reviews.
Metascores are out of a score of 100.
Let's get to it.
At number seven is Shanghai Noon, starring Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan.
It's got a metascore of 77 based on 30 reviews.
Quite honestly, I'm shocked it had such a good rating.
I'm gonna actually have to watch it now.
It leaves Netflix on November 7th.
At number six is a documentary about the commercial fishing industry called Leviathan.
It goes offline on November 27th.
Number five is a French film, Stranger by the Lake, with a metascore of 82.
It tells the story of Frank and Michel, who is actually quite dangerous.
It will available until November 13th.
At number four is Three Kings starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and IceCube.
The movie also scored an 82 on Meta Critic.
We used IMDB as a tie-breaker, and it narrowly defeated Stranger by the Lake.
Three Kings disappears on November 1st.
Number three, the Coen Brothers movie Fargo.
I don't know what to say about this movie other than it's flat out excellent.
It's got a Metascore of 85.
In his review of the film, Roger Ebert said it was one of the best films Films he's ever seen.
It leaves November 1st.
At number 2 is another documentary.
This time it's 1978's The Last Waltz.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, it tells the story of the final concert by the band.
It goes offline November 1st.
Before we get to number one, Halloween is coming up.
You should know that the first five Saw movies are going offline, as well as Scream.
You should put them in your watch list during your Halloween party because they drop dead on November 1st.
On to number one.
And our number one movie to catch before November arrives with a metascore of 89, is House of Flying Daggers.
The best description I found for this movie is from Steven Ree of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
It's action opera, sordid sorcery, song and dance.
It's a heart pumping, jaw dropping thrill.
House of Flying Daggers leaves Netflix on November 1st.
