Star Trek Discovery cast talk about bringing 'Classic Trek' to season 2

[MUSIC] It's such an amazing role and character because he brings this voice of reason to the audience and it's, where in such a ton of disarray And I think that's incredible. I won't yell when I found out. I literally sat down. I was on the street and I sat down and I cried for 15 minutes cuz I was just like, so overwhelmed and so happy. As an actor, you work for so long to have a moment like that. It's written very differently. The ultimate destination for This Spork is Neiman's Spock. But we have to come from somewhere. And so when we first see him you might not fully recognise who he'll be. And over the course of the season, you see him become this doctor we love and know I'm a huge science fiction, dude. I mean, I'm a fan of the first season and I can't wait to see the second season. The scripts are so good. There's so much overlapping storylines and a lot of characters coming together to do incredible things and I think it's even better into over the first. Backing the sticks are higher and you just see the characters like really coming together in very complex and beautiful ways
