Slim or no Slim, the new Seagate Backup Plus portable drive is totally spacious

Hi guys.
[INAUDIBLE] here and this is the all new Seagate Backup Plus Fast Slim.
Now new because it is not to confuse with the old Backup Plus Slim that came out last year.
And Fast Slim because, well actually there are two drives The Backup Slim and the Backup Plus.
Now these two drives here are basically the same with some minor differences, but first I talk about the similarity.
They both acquire fast in my testing with a sustained speed of some 120 megabyte per second via HP 3.0.
They both also work with HP 2.0, and they both come with a standard HP cable right here.
That's used for both data and power connection.
Both of them come included in the [UNKNOWN] dashboard backup software, which is very easy to use and effective for home user.
Both include a free two year subscription for Microsoft One drive with 200 giga bytes on [UNKNOWN] Now comes the differences, there are three of them.
If you notice here, the two drives, the slim and the backup plus here, they have the same height and same width.
But if I lay them down, the slim is significantly shorter.
This is basically the same as the difference between me and my buddy J.T who is as tall as me, but drinks a lot more beer.
That said though, this new drive here is not that huge, it feels quite compact, ok?
Now the second difference is the backup plus slim here can be three capacities.
500 gigabytes, one terabyte, and 2 terabytes, and the backup plus comes in one capacity of 4 terabytes.
And in fact this one is the largest single portable drive on the market.
Not to be confused with this Seagate Backup Plus Fast Writer came out last year.
Now the Fast Drive also has 4 terabytes, but it doesn't come with one drive on the inside, but two, like this on the inside.

And finally the last difference is the Seagate backup plus 4 terabyte here comes only in black.
Whereas the other one the Seagate the Backup Plus Has four color options.
Black, silver, blue, and red.
As you can see, I have them all.
Now, the good news is, these drives here are quite affordable, costing between $55 and close to $200 depending on the capacity.
The bad news is none of them here comes with any security feature.
And that means imagine if you have two terabyte or even four terabyte of personal data and then you lose a drive.
That can be a headache, which is why I put all of my personal data on Facebook.
Much safer.
Just kid.
Don't do it.
