Rid your Android quick settings menu of oddball toggles
Rid oddball toggles from Android menu.
I'm a big fan of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
I love the new look and most of the new features, but there's one thing that have been driving me insane, and that's the quick settings menu.
When you pull down the notification bar you can do a second swipe to quickly access quick toggles for things like WiFi, Bluetooth and Airplane Mode.
It's really useful.
But what's annoying me is that when you use it at a hot spot or invert color feature.
A new icon will appear in this menu.
So the only way to get rid of this icon is to leave it alone for 30 days and it will simply disappear.
Well I didnt' want to wait that long so I figured out an easy fix for this.
Here's what you can do.
Head to settings, click dat and time and uncheck the box.
For automatically setting the time.
Then select set date and chose the same date from a month ago.
Pull down the quick settings menu and toggle the hotspot of invert color feature on and then back off.
Then head back into the settings menu and recheck the box to use your network provided date and time.
And voila', just like that those annoying icons will have disappeared.
