I'm Nicole Lee, Senior Associate Editor for cnet.com and this is the Motorola Theory for Boost Mobile.
The Motorola Theory is a very simple and basic messaging phone for Boost.
It has a simple and straightforward candy-bar messaging phone form factor as you can see here.
On the front here is a 2.4-inch colored display.
Underneath that you do get the new usual navigation area as well as the round toggle in the middle.
Underneath that
you do get a full QWERTY keyboard.
The keyboard here is very similar to that of the BlackBerry Curve.
The keys as you can see here even though they're compact, they're raised above the surface for easy texting and dialing.
On the side here is the micro-USB port.
On the other side is the volume rocker.
On the back is a 1.3-megapixel camera.
As far as features go, the Theory is pretty basic as we said before.
Features include text and multimedia messaging, of course, as well as the usual
Bluetooth and GPS functions.
The Motorola Theory does not have push-to-talk like a lot of other Boost's mobile phones however.
Even though the Motorola Theory does not have a lot of features, it does make for a very good in basic messaging phone.
The Motorola Theory is around $80 without a contract from Boost Mobile.
