And this is a first look at the Motorola FINITY Bluetooth Headset.
Looks like a very traditional Bluetooth headset here.
But it's actually one of Motorola's bone conduction headsets.
This is the successor to the HX1 Headset from last year.
At the bottom of the earpiece, here's a tiny little sensor- that when you press against the walls of your ear canal
will actually translate the vibrations of your jaw into voice.
Motorola causes bone conduction technology stealth-mode.
And you activate it by pressing the little tiny button right here.
You'll only need to activate the stealth-mode in extremely noisy situations- like in a busy airport and so forth.
Aside from that, the headset has the usual features.
On the back is their unusual looking ear gel piece, so that it fits very snuggly inside the ear.
Other features of the headset include A2DP Music Streaming, Multi-Point Technology, so that it connects up to 2 devices at the same time.
And compatibility with Moto Speak- an Android application that lets you send and receive text messages with your voice.
It will read out incoming text messages to you.
And you can say, reply, to dictate a reply.
When paired with an iPhone, you will see the headset's battery meter next to the iPhone's battery meter.
When not in stealth-mode, the FINITY will use Motorola's
Crystal Talk Dual Microphone Noise Cancellation Technology for everyday conversations.
The Motorola FINITY is available for $130 retail.
