Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga aren't just business as usual

Lenovo's Thinkpad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga have always been a showcase for its latest and greatest business features but it sort of outdone itself for CES 2018 and you don't have to look hard to see the improvements Both the new sixth gen X1 Carbon laptop and third gen X1 Yoga have WQHD resolution 14 inch displays with 100% Adobe RGB color Gimick brightness upto 500 [INAUDIBLE] and pending a future update, support for Dolby Vision HDR.
Then there are the new 360 degree far field mics that not only allow you to wake the PCs but also take advantage of Amazon's Alexa services Plus built into the thin displays are web cams that have been fitted with new physical shutters to block the cameras on each system with just a simple slider.
Both the Carbon and Yoga are available with Intel 8th Gen Core i7 chips, global LTE-A wireless, up to 15 hours of battery life, and anti-spoofing fingerprint readers.
And they're built to handle spills and other rough treatment despite the elegant design.
Where they differ is in design, with the Yoga bringing two in one flexibility along with a built in active pen for drawing and writing on the screen, while the X1 carbon is the standard 14 inch laptop, though it is the world's lightest, Lenovo says.
And if you really want it with a touch screen, Lenovo will have a full HD option available.
Arriving in January, the Think Pad X1 Carbon starts around $1,700 joined by the X1 Yoga starting at $1,889.
