Lenovo H320 40411FU
Hi, I'm Rich Brown, senior editor for cnet.com.
Today, we're take a look at the Lenovo H320 40411FU.
This is a slim tower PC.
It's designed for either the living room or day to day productivity and we're seeing a lot of these lately.
It comes with a Blu-ray drive, fast Intel Core i5 CPU as well as a dedicated graphics card.
It cost about 750 bucks, just configuration overall to pretty deal, that's it.
We have some issues with the design of this case a little bit.
As you can see on the front, it's got stickers down here for Intel as well as Microsoft.
Lenovo has a sticker at top of its own and stickers her on the side that really kind of make this case look visually clutter.
Now, stickers on PC cases definitely are not new, but the fact is that the same tower PCs are making play for your living room and now work up of generations into this idea.
We think it's time that Windows PC vendors really started taking design of this little system a little bit more seriously.
That's said overall this seems pretty good.
We mentioned the Blu-ray which you find behind this storage here.
On top, there is a media card reader downloading at a few USB port as well as audio jacks.
On the back of the case and ports are little bit spare.
There's only 5.1 audio output down there.
So, there's no 7.7 or dedicated digital audio output.
So, as long as you're kind of casual about your audio demands, you probably wouldn't mind the system, otherwise, we definitely suggest, maybe going from adding card or looking for something else.
You choose a few more USB ports down here
as well as an internet output.
Now, you can see the video outputs here.
There's VGA and HDMI and those are built in to the mother board, but you don't actually need to use.
Down here, you got the VGA and HDMI out of the [unk] graphics card ** little bit graphics expected since to some towered PC with the CPU right here.
This is a dual core, Intel core, i5 chip that comes with 3.2 giga hertz.
Also hyper threaded though, so kind of similar to quad core chip when you needed to.
Then here, you got a video GeForce 310 graphics card.
and that's fast enough to play HD video both from the web as well as from the Blu-Ray drive.
For games, it's a little hit than this.
But the cry is to demo, we had to drop the resolution down to get a playable friendly.
For dragging HD though, we have no problem playing at 19 X 10.
So, really, you can't quite see them.
There's actually 4 memory slots and with the optical drive here.
One from these freeze idea of some extension room there, and here you find a single slot for one PCI express card.
The system does have wireless built in, so you may wanna stick a TV toner or some other expansion card
or half-length cart too since the case is kind of narrow.
Otherwise though, that's pretty much all operative value you get.
Well, we wish Lenovo would pay more attention to the design of the system.
We can't disagree that's it's a pretty good deal.
You get a Blu-ray drive, a fast CPU as well as a dedicated driver's card, all for under 800 bucks.
So, I'm Rich Brown, this is the Lenovo H320 40411FU.
