Google announced an entire new product from its Pixel 2 event today and it's Google Clips.
It's an AI powered camera that, in short, takes photos for you.
Once you clip it on wherever you like, it uses machine learning with facial recognition to instantly take pictures and short videos.
It learns over time what to take pictures of.
And the camera looks for smiles, movement, and familiar faces.
All the content lives on the camera, and it wont leave the device until you decide to share it.
It doesn't need an internet connection or a phone to work.
Though it does work with the new Pixel 2 phones so you can see your photos and video.
Clips is a 12 megapixel fixed focus camera and it's powered by a customized processor designed together with Google and Intel.
Its battery has about three hours of active capture.
It costs $250, which is kind of expensive for what it is.
We don't know when it will go on sale except Google said it was coming soon.
