Dell V715w All-in-One Wireless Printer

Printers
This Dell Printer will help you reduce your environmental footprint, but likewise your image quality and ink hustle in cartridges keep up from full recommendations. I'm Justin Yu, and this is a first look at the Dell V715W all in one wireless printer. This is the company's flagship printer and it offers the standard array of prints, fax, scanning, copy functionality that we've come to expect from a 190 dollar device. But let's start with a couple positive features along with the 2.4-inch color LCD display, the control panel also has a series of short cut buttons that let you quickly access the main features of the printer, and you also get an Eco-Mode button marked with a green leaf over here that triggers dual sided printing, copying, and faxing using the duplex around back. The button also dims the LCD while you're not printing, and the printer helps the environment further with energy starter location and will go into auto power save mode if left idle. Unfortunately, the printer is out shadowed by the Epson Workforce 840. That's the current gold standard office output devices that has doubled the paper capacity and can also print photos wirelessly using Epson's free iPhone app. Another complain we have with the V715W is the amount of ink it expels per cartridge. Despite using 4 individual ink cartridges for black, magenta, cyan, and yellow, the standard cartridge included didn't even last long enough to go through out quality and speed test documents, which is rare for a printer especially at this upper key of price tag. In addition, we ran this to several installation and connection issues with the embedded 802.11bg Wi-Fi card that's supposed to get you connected to a computer without USB cable. Unfortunately, our connection kept putting out and presenting and air message that we couldn't seem to figure out. If you're printing a high volume of documents, photos, and graphics and your business depends on a capable device that won't cut out in the middle of day, we recommended foregoing this printer and checking out that Epson Workforce 840. It may cost a bit more, but your company's workflow is worth it. You can read all the details including performance charts and feature details and the full review on cnet.com, but that's gonna do it for me. I'm Justin Yu and just took a first look at the Dell V715W all-in-one wireless printer. Thanks for watching.
