Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet: Built like a tank, runs like a tablet

[MUSIC] There are tonnes of tablets on the market and yet there are very few that can stand bumps, scrapes, and drops to the floor, let alone a more extreme environment like mountains and deserts and even the battlefield. The Latitude 12 rugged tablet is as tough as it looks. Of course this tablet isn't going to be for everyone. But for those who need something that's built to last This tablet is tough to its core and it's secure through and through. Thanks to its rib-like edges and and durable design, this Windows-powered tablet has been tested to survive the sizzling heat and the freezing cold, spills and shock, and even being dropped to the ground. Starting at about $2,000 for the low end model, the Latitude 12 rugged tablet lands with all the perks you might expect in a top-end tablet. Including a fifth generation Intel Core M processor. up to 8 GB of memory and up to half a terabyte of solid state storage as well as an expandable SD memory slot. The rather big downside in that it's heavy weighing in at 3.6 pounds. It can be a bit tiring to hold, but you can always snap on it's keyboard accessory and kick back the stand essentially converting it into a notebook. This tablet is not something for the average person. Unless you like Skyping on the top of mountains or if you're wading through the scorching desert.
