Aura is a drone you fly with hand gestures
The AURA doesn't look too different from other toy drones.
But it's controller trades sticks for fingertips.
The quadcopter is controlled entirely with a glove using hand gestures.
This is a prototype but the final product will perform same when it arrives this fall.
The drone will autolaunch once paired with the glove.
And then all it takes is raising and lowering and tilting your hand to fly it around.
The idea is that by eliminating the traditional controls for something more intuitive, anyone will be able to pilot it.
Battery life is expected to be around eight minutes and its protective cage not only saves it from crashes, but allows you to roll it on the ground, up walls, and across ceilings.
It'll also have a headless mode, meaning, no matter what direction the drone is facing, it will always fly in the direction you want it to.
And it will have height, as well as distance limitations, for added safety.
Again, look for it this fall, for around a hundred dollars.
