Speaker 1: I'm here in LA, checking out the new super 73, the ZX here. And first off, look at this thing. It looks amazing. I love the simple design of the frame, and I love how the batteries tucked up underneath the seat. I also really enjoy the cutouts in the wheels with the red. It looks so good. I'm gonna spend a little bit of time with this bike today and try to decide which super 73 is best because they're all pretty similar
Speaker 1: [00:00:30] With each super 73. You're just getting incremental changes and those changes mean big price differences. The ZX model sits in between the base model Z one and the mid-range S two. And then there's the RX model, which is their flagship model. The most significant differences between the base model Z one. And the ZX is that the ZX has the LCD display iOS capability and unlimited mode. I think if you're going to get a super 73, [00:01:00] it's super important, an unlimited mode, the bike comes live with this feature. Trust me, let's get to the numbers. The ZX is fitted with a 650 wat hour battery. The battery powers, a motor that has arranged between 750 and 1,350 Watts. You're going to get an estimated range of 20 to 50 plus miles. And that depends on ride mode and the elements you're tackling. Always like to mention the weight because e-bikes, aren't light the ZX with it. Aluminum frame weighs 62.6 pounds. I thought it [00:01:30] would be more difficult to pick up because of the battery and motor position, but it's actually fairly balanced.
Speaker 1: The ZX is definitely urban. Friendly can keep up with city traffic pretty well. And on the flat it gets going pretty quick, but when it comes to going up Hills, you can definitely feel the lack and power, especially next to the more powerful S two. I would hate to go up any steep Hills in San Francisco on this guy moving on. I do have to mention the seat here. [00:02:00] It's great that the ZX comes with the longer seat right out the box. And you can bring friends along on your journeys. Usually you have to buy a longer seat separately. Also have to mention that it's comfortable. And I think it looks really good. Lastly, you have to mention that the ZX doesn't have any suspension, but that doesn't bother me because the tires are so wide. They take on bumps really well. Overall, I'm a fan is ZX. It brings me a lot of joy.
Speaker 1: Buying a super 73 is a [00:02:30] whole lot like buying an iPhone. You spend just a little bit more money. You get a whole lot more features. It makes the buying process extra difficult. I know the ZX comes in at $2,000, but what I get this more? No, I don't think I would. I think I would go for the S two, which costs $2,700. I like the S two because it has a bit more power. And I do enjoy that front suspension. If power is a worry for you, I would check out say the aerial rider grizzly. [00:03:00] It has two batteries, two motors and 52 volts of power. It's a beast. And it can really handle some terrain. What I like most about the ZX and actually all the super 73 S is their design. They're beautifully made machines. They almost have a timeless quality to 'em. I just wish this one and a, all the rest of them had a bit more power.
