Goodyear just loves to stretch our brains.
Their new aero concept would function as a narrow non neumatic tyre when it's on the ground, then articulate to become an turban style propeller when it's in the air.
That's right, it's 2019 and we're envisioning self flying cars The neat trick about arrow is how the wheels.
spokes are also the propellers blades, they'd have to be pitched, curved, manufacturer and preserved in great precision.
That means the tire around them has a job of not just gripping and cushioning the ride on the road, but protecting that very delicate blade assembly.
