Stretching the boundaries of convergence, Sony's robotic dog flies off the shelves while Mattel and HP subsidiary Apollo tout their Barbie printer.

Japanese snap up Sony's robot dog
PhotographSony says its robotic dog sold out in Japan 20 minutes after going on sale exclusively over the Internet this morning. Three thousand Aibo robotic dogs were sold at $2,066 each, the company says.
