Gates receives knighthood

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates receives honorary knighthood from Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, in recognition of his charitable works in Commonwealth countries. Gates' wife, Melinda, is at right.

Not just any knight...
Of course, they didn't publish that info, but Gates was made a Dark Knight. You know, for tirelessly pursuing Evil in its many forms and his good 'ole Plots for World Domination. Now the heroes have a real, honest-to-god villain to cross swords with.

Only one question remains though. What special powers did Gates receive with this class change? Dark Knights get all kind of cool abilities and equipment to augment their scheming.

In any case, looks like mr. Gates can now shoot for that title of Evil Overlord for real.

Just because he is successful in life and is the richest man on earth
so people have to hate him? This is stupid. Enough of these sour
comments. he is evil all right but I doubt you wouldn't trade your
soul to be in his shoes.

Yep. Kind of ironic how the regional licensing won`t allow him to use his knighthood in the U.S.. Maybe he could upgrade to Canadian citizenship?
