- Speaking of short film contests and online video, you need to check out www.theproject.tv. A student film contest that challenges students to create a 3 episode miniseries and let the viewing audience vote each round to determine which director will get to screen their next episode. (Kind of like American Idol style voting) With a $25,000 purse for the winner this is definately not your usual short film contest.
