Guitar problems
I know 3 people (including myself) who purchased Rock Band ... all 3 of us have had their guitars quit working. In order to get a new one you must pay full price, ship your old one back -- THEN they'll refund you. Lousy quality control and lousy customer service. They should allow you to make a direct exchange from the retail store that sold it to you.

Partially correct
Yes, there have been guitar problems. I had a defective guitar as well. But you're wrong about the returns. They sent me a new one with a box for me to return the defective one in. I received the new guitar in 2 days and haven't had to pay a dime. They only charge you if you don't return the defective guitar.

you must be joking
You actually think MTV had any hand in the actual design or assembly of the components? MTV dropped some money to attach their name to this, nothing more. Don't be a moron.

Harmonix designed the parts, the same people who originally designed the GH guitar. They know what they're doing, obviously messed up, and have already started fixing units.
