IBM to manage customer relations for D&B

Pension deal bites into IBM profit

IBM has signed a contract with business information provider Dun & Bradstreet to manage its key business processes, such as customer relations.

Big Blue will manage data acquisition and delivery, customer service, and financial processes. The seven-year deal is worth $180 million, IBM said.

Under the agreement, IBM will manage customer relationships for more than 100,000 D&B clients, using technologies like real-time analytics, Big Blue said.
