Gathering highlights power of the blog

If any more proof were needed of bloggers' influence--at least for Democrats--it'd be found on the Las Vegas Strip.

Blogs are still 99% garbage, and you can't tell a good one from a
bad one. Maybe the author might be a clue - but then only if his
real name is used.

The Silent Majority No More
by Lenny Caputo June 11, 2006 8:23 AM PDT
More and more conservatives are starting to create our own blogs. We are tired of being lied to by the press and the mass media. Blogging and talk radio is our only means left to let our voices be heard.

I have started to create my own blog as well and I am encouraging my friends to participate as soon as it is up and running.

Republicans and Conservatives fall deeply into the "Silent Majority" camp. Getting them to open blogs and post is quite a challenge. Getting them to attend a rally or volunteer during an election cycle is almost impossible. Lets face it Republicans have jobs.

Through education and mass appeal I am certain conservative blogs will bring the masses to finally stand up and be counted. Dan-Blather Gate has proven that our influence can be felt. This is just the beginning.

Goodnight and good luck.
