The program, "Amazon.com A-List For Hurricane Relief," will kick off Wednesday with the online premiere of Tim McGraw's unreleased song "Louisiana."
"People in my home state of Louisiana still desperately need our help after their lives were changed forever by Hurricane Katrina," said McGraw, who is scheduled to visit the St. Bernard Parish City Hall near New Orleans on Tuesday to meet with hurricane victims.
Exclusive content will be provided by a different celebrity each day until Dec. 20. Amazon customers who donate to the program will have access to the daily content. The donations will go to nonprofit organizations chosen by each of the celebrities.
Other celebrities participating include Bon Jovi, David Beckham, Clay Aiken, Blondie, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Simon, Faith Hill, Christy Turlington, Trisha Yearwood and Rob Thomas. Content ranges from unreleased music and art to behind-the-scenes footage.
"Amazon.com is happy to give customers a convenient way to continue their support (to the hurricane victims) while celebrating the season with exclusive content from their favorite stars," Kathy Savitt, Amazon vice president for strategic communications, said in a statement.
