The Chinese government has cut off access to a Web site used by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide to post online diaries, according to bloggers and the site's developer.

not surprising really, what makes this doubly tragic is that there are US and european companies that supply the technology to make this sort of censorship possible - for those that want to get around this sort of thing, check out TOR
