Vote today and get free stuff

Mmmm...free donuts.
Not that most people need extra incentive to get out and vote today, but just in case: Krispy Kreme (store locator) is offering a free star-shaped donut (with patriotic sprinkles, no less) to anyone who shows up wearing an "I Voted" sticker.
Other freebies you can score using that all-powerful sticker:
- A free tall coffee at Starbucks (YouTube ad)
- A free ice cream at Ben & Jerry's from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Some Chick-Fil-A stores are reportedly offering a free chicken sandwich.
I know this has nothing to do with tech, but who doesn't love free food and drinks? So get out and exercise your hard-won right to vote. And for heaven's sake, be civil to one other.

(Voted last week anyways :) ).
Your body will think that it's starving and will lower the metabolism therefor slowing your fat burning rates and possibly even start ripping away at your proteins (which are the same chemical composition as carbohydrates with a corboxyll group at the end) and burning that for energy preventing weight loss..
Carbs are your bodies primary energy source, followed by sugars, then fat, and then protein if it thinks that it needs to conserve the fat due to too low a calorie intake.
So I say... Celebrate, curse the diet, and remind your body that it's not starving.
All of that is why starvation diets and most long term diets fail.
Glad it's over. Glad it will still go on. America is the best!
