NASA's Dawn spacecraft began its approach of the dwarf planet of Ceres earlier this month and made a very strange discovery.
Bright spots of light resembling patches of civilization have been observed on the surface of Ceres, which is the largest body in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter As the Dawn spacecraft gets closer, he bright spots are coming more into focus, revealing some clues as to what these shiny objects could be.
Scientists and astronomers have a number of theories, and they're asking the public for help in an online survey at jpl.nasa.gov.
