One thing about the Windows Media Center Edition interface is that it takes over your whole user experience, forcing you to go back to the regular desktop to perform everyday tasks like, say, checking e-mail. Some enterprising programmers in the Netherlands have put together a for Windows Media Center Edition, allowing you to access Outlook directly through the MCE interface. It's not as full-function as using regular Outlook, but you can read and send e-mail, check your calendar, etc. Various beta versions have been kicking around for a few months, but the latest code is available here.
