Short Take: CEO resigns from Level 3 unit

Raul Pupo has resigned as chief executive and president of PKS Information Services for personal reasons. Michael Jones, chief information officer, will replace Pupo as acting CEO while the company searches for a permanent replacement. PKS, a systems integrator and computer outsourcing company, is a subsidiary of Level 3 Communications, an emerging telecommunications carrier.
