Short Take: Boeing takes stake in SkyBridge

Boeing has invested in SkyBridge, a satellite data service provider backed primarily by Alcatel, and will serve as the company's satellite launch partner. The total value of Boeing's equity investment was not disclosed. Boeing will launch 40 of 80 satellites scheduled to be deployed as part of SkyBridge's network.
