Although we first saw it earlier this year at the spring CTIA show in New Orleans, the Samsung SCH-A970 has finally found a home. Here at the autumn CTIA show in San Francisco, the A970 is now wearing a Verizon Wireless logo, despite the fact that it has yet to appear for sale on the carrier's Web site. Similar in style to the , the eye-catching A970 has a flip-phone design with a rotating display. Its features include a 2-megapixel camera, video, Bluetooth, voice recognition, dual color displays, text and multimedia messaging, and a wireless Web browser. The dual-band (CDMA 800/1900) phone also is equipped for Verizon's 3G EV-DO network. Exact pricing and availability are still under wraps, but we're eager to take a closer look.
