Microsoft today announced the avilablity of a new Office 2003 service pack, which includes a few Outlook security enhancements. For example, incoming e-mail will now be checked for so-called "phishing" attacks. Also, "junk" mail is rendered in plain text, and URL links within the junk mail are disabled. Users with automatic updates enabled within their Windows operating system will receive the update soon. Users prefering to manually update their systems should visit for more details.
