Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark's adventure won't be coming out until spring 2023.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed to next spring, creative director Sefton Hill wrote in a tweet Wednesday, confirming a report from last month. The DC Comics antihero co-op action game, developed by Batman: Arkham studio Rocksteady, was originally scheduled to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime this year.

"I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can," Hill wrote. "I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience."

The game is set in the same universe as the beloved Arkham games, and sees the titular group of villains tasked with saving Metropolis from alien supervillain Braniac and his brainwashed Justice League. So Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark will be forced to take on Superman, the Flash and company.

DC fans looking for some co-op action shouldn't fret though, since Gotham Knights is coming out Oct. 25. It'll star Batman sidekicks Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood as they take on criminal group Court of Owls following their mentor's apparent death.
