Nintendo Switch's newest game is a Pokemon-Tekken mashup
Along with the new title for the Switch console-heldheld hybrid comes two new games for the 3DS handheld game player.

Pokemon's bringing the fight to the Nintendo Switch.
Pokemon announced on Tuesday the Pokken Tournament Deluxe fighting game for the Switch, Nintendo's newest device that can be played as home game console or as a mobile device. The new game is a collaboration between Nintendo and Tekken and allows players to brawl with their favorite Pokemon, like Charizard facing off against Mewtwo or Pikachu taking on Lucario. The new game will launch September 22.
The game originally came out for Nintendo's Wii U in March 2016, shifting from the usual turn-based Pokemon battles to a fast-paced fighting style. The deluxe edition for the Switch will add five new fighters: Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk and Decidueye. It will also come with new features like three-on-three team battles, group battles and ranked online matches.
The announcement comes less than a week before the kickoff of the E3 game industry trade show in Los Angeles, where Nintendo is expected to present new titles for the Switch and the 3DS portable game console. On June 14 at E3, Nintendo will let people play a demo of the deluxe edition, as well as host an invitational tournament.
Nintendo also announced an expansion for Pokemon Sun and Moon with Ultra Sun and Moon. In a preview for the 3DS, Nintendo said there will be alternate storylines from the original game and new Pokemon popping up. Ultra Sun and Moon will be released November 17.
The original versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver, first out in 1999, will come to the 3DS' Virtual Console on September 22. Players will be able transfer Pokemon from the Johto region to their newer games on the Virtual Console, Nintendo said.
