Samsung is rumored to be prepping an Ice Cream Sandwich handset with a 4.65-inch HD display.

Yesterday, a Lithuanian mobile phone and accessories Web site posted a leak of what appears to be details for a number of upcoming Samsung mobile devices. As one would expect, Android tops the list, along with a few midrange devices, a Galaxy Tab (7-inch) successor, and a couple of handsets with display sizes the likes of which we've never seen before.

Perhaps the most notable of the phones listed in the leak is the GT-I9250, as it's expected to be among the company's first Androids to run Ice Cream Sandwich. Specifications are light at the moment but the display is said to be 4.65 inches and offer a 1,280X720 resolution. Should Samsung opt to go touch only and eschew physical buttons, the large screen size makes sense. Additional details include a 5-megapixel camera, and presumably support for Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and other requisite Android features.

Meanwhile, the GT-I9220 is pegged as having a massive 5.29-inch (1,280x720) Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core 1.4GHz processor, and a 8-megapixel camera. Though this might sound like the makings of another Ice Cream Sandwich handset, the phone is listed as having Android 2.3 under the hood.

Up next, the GT-I9210 is pegged as being a 4G phone with a 4.5-inch (800x480) display, an 8-megapixel camera, and front-facing 2-megapixel camera. Weighing 4.5 ounces and offering up a 1,750 mAh battery, this one also provides the standard support for Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth.

Getting away from high-end super phones for a moment, the GT-I8150 is said to provide a 3.7-inch (800x480) display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a front-facing VGA camera. The 4GB of internal storage is on the lower end of the spectrum, but I assume Samsung might offer microSD expansion for up to 32GB of additional memory. Rounding out the specifications are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HSPA+, and FM radio.

The final Android phone mentioned is the B5510-W41, which is said to have a 2.8-inch display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 3-megapixel camera, and support for an FM radio.

Last but not least, a P6200 tablet is listed with details that include a 7-inch (1,024x600) display, a 3-megapixel camera, and front-facing 2-megapixel camera. According to the source of the leak, this model will feature Honeycomb, meaning Android 3.2 or higher.

As great as some of these specifications sound, they might ultimately prove to be off the mark. Samsung took to its official blog last night to address the rumors and said that the details "are not accurate" and that more information will be made available at a later date. Though the company did not outright deny the model numbers or specifications, they do a bit to temper the excitement. Perhaps these announcements will be made in the next few weeks as Ice Cream Sandwich is rumored to be coming sooner than expected.
