2023 Lexus RZ 450e: Yoke-ing Around

This is the 2023 Lexus RZ 450e.

On the EPA test cycle, Lexus estimates this SUV will offer a maximum of 225 miles of range, a minuscule number these days.

The RZ 450e has no frunk, though all-wheel-drive models will feature 308 horsepower.

This SUV's interior is premium and spacious. 

A 14-inch touchscreen is included, as is a familiar-looking infotainment system.

The RZ 450e's most controversial feature will almost certainly be its optional steer-by-wire yoke. 

That yoke works well, though it has a learning curve in tight corners, like on this coned-off course. 

Copper and black is a banging color combination. 

The load height of the rear cargo area is nice and low at just about 29 inches.
