BARCELONA, Spain--HP's new Slate 7 isn't just a repeat of HP's earlier TouchPad. This time, the smaller display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS remind me more of the Google Nexus 7.
Among the Slate 7's features are a 3-megapixel camera and second camera for video calling and a dual-core ARM A9 processor.
The Slate 7 has a trim profile with a volume rocker on one side.
Around the corner and the power control and headset jack.
The tablet has a stainless steel frame and "soft touch" back.
Down below are the external speakers.
Like on other Android tablets you can swap between different programs on this screen.
The Slate 7 supports Beats Audio for your listening pleasure.
The main menu shows the standard grid of icons.
