With a 5-inch display, the Alcatel One Touch Idol X is big as smartphones go, but the trim profile and thin bezel make is seem smaller than it is.
The display is bright and vibrant, and it shows the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Without any physical buttons, you'll have to reply exclusively on virtual onscreen commands.
The polished silver edges on the One Touch Idol X reflect the light. Here you can see just how thin it is.
You can hold the One Touch Idol X in one hand, but two-handed operation will be more ideal for browsing.
There are a few controls on the top of the handset and on either side.
The back of One Touch Idol X is covered in a rubbery, textured material
Hatches cover the microSD and SIM card slots.
Up top on the right spine is the volume rocker.
The One Touch Idol X comes in a variety of bright colors.
