Troubleshooting Mac OS X 10.2.4 Server: Enabling secure connections

CNET staff

Stu Duncan notes a minor problem in Mac OS X 10.2.4 Server where if you turn on 'Enable secure connections' under the Access tab of the Configure Apple File Service, you cannot mount one share point and then another share point later. This only occurs for OS9 clients. Mac OS X clients behave normally. Duncan writes:

"The fix is, obviously, to turn off the Enable secure connections option if you need OS9 clients accessing your servers with multiple share points."
