QuickTime Streaming Server causes permissions error?

"The update changes the access privileges/permissions for the admin user. I've reformatted my G4 server 3 times now and each time I see this: I reformat my G4/533 computer again and put Server X on it. After that restart and logging in as admin, I can create new folders in: Macintosh HD (root level); Applications; Library; Shared Items - but not (as expected) in System or Users.

After applying the QT Streaming Server 3.0.1 update from Software Update, I can no longer create new folders in Macintosh HD (root level) or Library."
