QuickCam software oddities

The Logitech web page still lists QuickCam 2.1.2 as the latest version of the QuickCam software. None-the-less, a 2.1.3 version has been on the Logitech ftp site for quite some time (although a file indicates it is just for the QuickCam Pro USB, which is not even listed as available on the Logitech web site).

Adding to this confusion, despite reports that QuickCam is not compatible with Mac OS 9 (see previous coverage), Carl Smedberg received a message from Logitech that said, at least when using version 2.1.3, "QuickCam Pro USB is compatible with Mac OS 9."
