PowerBook G3 noise problem follow-up; AMP Radio

Since yesterday, we have also received reader email suggesting a similar problem in a few iBooks and, in one case, a beige G3. AMP Radio is currently having some legal problems that prevents it from supporting SHOUTCast stations until the next AMP update.
