Power Mac G4 and Cinema Display: New MacFixIt Report launched

Yesterday, we covered Steve Jobs keynote address at Seybold, noting the announcement of the new Power Mac G4 and Apple Cinema Display.

Today, we start a newMacFixIt Report on the Power Mac G4 (and Cinema Display). It includes some important information about the differences between the two basic flavors of G4, as well as numerous links to Apple TIL articles, announcements of G4 upgrades and more. The Report will be updated as new information becomes available.

USB startup drives! Of special note: As described in an Apple TIL article, with the 450 and 500 MHz G4s, USB drives (including the SuperDisk drive) can act as startup drives.
