OS X Utilities Updates: Moose's Apprentice; ShellShell; Tape; Alarm Clock Pro; Snard Dockling; KeyFinder; more

The Moose's Apprentice 10.1.2 is a graphical user interface which allows you to inspect, edit, change, and create configuration files such as: hosts.allow, hosts.deny, motd, shells, ftp users, ftpchroot, ftpwelcome crontab, (and others!). New in this version: If you double click on a file in the "The Moose's Apprentice" window it will now call up the edit window for that file if it is supported; more.

ShellShell 1.0.3 is a scriptable application that provides a friendly OS X user interface to any UNIX command.

Tape 1.6b4 is a Mac OS 9 package and OS X bundle editor. This release fixes crashes under Mac OS X and fixes several bugs that showed up only after creating the new project file.

Alarm Clock Pro X 3.1 fixes several crashing bugs, a problem with CloseWindow in the analog clock, and window positions are now properly saved.

Snard Dockling 0.4 is a Dock-based launcher. This update adds worksets, Drag and Drop from the Finder now works, and the Config module now quits when the main window is closed.

KeyFinder 2.0 lists the ASCII value and key combination of each key. The values are displayed in decimal, hex, and octal.

Password Retriever 1.6 is a Carbon version of this utility to store passwords.

MarshmallowMode 11 is a file system browser with a shelf. This release will update the viewer and notify the user when copying and moving files, it now listens to Finder notifications for file system changes, and it checks for changes every ten seconds.

NotePod 1.0b12 is a note-keeping utility that displays notes in a hierarchical list. No word on what is new in this release.

Assimilator 1.1 is a screensaver that runs other screensavers on the faces of a cube. This update increases performance, improves compatibility with SaverLab, and fixes several bugs.

Contact Keeper 3.2 is the first Carbonized version of this address book utility.

PocketDock 2.1 is a utility to organize and launch applications, documents, web links, and email addresses. It supports multiple skins or looks. The update features support for the moving and coping of files from within PocketDock and between PocketDock and the Finder.
