Odds and Ends: IBM hard drives used in some Macs affected by class action lawsuit
IBM hard drives used in some Macs affected by class action lawsuit MacFixIt reader John Goodchild reports that IBM is facing a class action lawsuit against certain models of their Deskstar range of hard drives (before selling the rights to Hitachi).
This affects Macintosh users since IBM Deskstar drives were supplied pre-installed in most Macintosh systems sold between March 15th, 2000 and March 4th, 2005.
