eBay working again We previously reported that changes in eBay's site coding broke the "Auction Tracker" feature in Internet Explorer. At the time, eBay representatives said:

"We are aware that this program has not been updated for use with the recent changes to our site. Since this is not a program we are affiliated with we are unable to update this program for you."

Steve Lee reports that - after a multitude of user complaints - eBay has updated its coding to allow Auction Tracker's proper functioning.

OS X MacSSH instructions David Zatz has updated Allpar's step by step instructions for using MacSSH to secure connections from Macs to Web and UNIX servers with details for Mac OS X. The report previously covered OS 7.5.3 through OS 9.2.2.

Longer iPod warranty? Gann Matsuda reports that the 90-day warranty specified by Apple for the iPod may be actually be longer for some users.

"After entering the purchase date and serial number of a 5 GB iPod that was purchased in late November (the warranty should have expired at the end of February), Apple's iPod repair web site responded, 'According to our records, your iPod is still under warranty.'
