Fireworks and Font Reserve conflict? DiamondSoft replies We received a reply from DiamondSoft regarding yesterday's item on a potential conflict between Fireworks and Font Reserve: "The problem with Font Reserve and Fireworks is probably the same as the problem with Font Reserve (and Suitcase) and MS Office apps - if there are two fonts with the same name active, either in Font Reserve, one of the various System fonts folders or a combination of both, it won't work (ed. note: This is an issue we have covered here before). All you have to do is either remove the conflicting same-named System fonts or don't activate any fonts with the same name as any of the System fonts. I've verified this with dozens of our users already. It seems that OS X will let you activate multiple fonts with the same name, but a lot of programs don't like that!"
