nVidia GeForce Graphics update: reader comments

CNET staff
Regarding the recently released nVidia drivers GeForce Graphics 2.1.1 update:

Miro Chastven writes: "Since installing the update , the image previews I have in QuarkXPress 3.3.2r5 are getting all inverted whenever I pan across a page. It seems to happen most noticeably when I am zoomed in on a page. Also when ever I get images or text or save the dialog box leaves an inverted image behind it when it closes. This is really annoying because the only way to get my image preview back is to zoom in or out. This refreshes the preview and all is well."

Another reader adds: "I've actually been using the 2.1.1 drivers from 9.2 for at least a month now but 9.2 didn't contain this release of firmware, which actually does a bit of speeding up on my 733. So i suggest anyone who feels they don't need the update to still update. However, the 2.1.1 update appears to cause RealBASIC programs to have problems with antialiasing in multiline text fields."

On the plus side a reader states: "The GeForce 2.1.1 driver update seems to solve the problems we were having with VectorWorks 8.5.2 (2D drawing is now visible as you draw)."
