Power Macintosh G3: Network Assistant & Printer Share (#22224) After installing Network Assistant on a Power Macintosh G3, if you get a message when trying to enable printer sharing that says: "You must install the Printer Share extension to share you printer...": the problem is that if the Network Assistant Startup extension loads before the Printer Share extension on some Power Macintosh G3-based computers, they will not enable printer sharing. Apple's suggested work-around: "Move the Network Assistant Startup extension out of the Extensions folder to the System Folder. The Network Assistant Startup extension will then load after the Printer Share extension." Of course, you can also use Conflict Catcher to change the load order.

Meanwhile, Apple Network Assistant 3.0.2 Updater is now available.

AppleVision 1710: Quality Program Extended (#58001) Apple has extended its repair program for AppleVision 1710 monitors until December 31, 1998. "All AppleVision 1710 and 1710AV Displays with serial numbers from SG522xxxxxx up to and including SG628xxxxxx that exhibit the no video and/or no power symptom are eligible for this program."
